Folks, we’ve just updated SwiftKey with a pretty awesome bunch of changes.
Most prominently, and after some hard work, we’ve launched a new default skin for the keyboard. We’ve been working with the chaps from Ribot on the design tweaks and we hope you like it!
We’ve also launched five new keyboard layouts, to better tailor the keyboard to each of your needs. These are all QWERTY-based; we have a layout for English speakers that doesn’t include accented characters on long-press actions, an action for international writers who need accents… and three new Scandinavian layouts for our friends in the chilly north-east of Europe.
We also have… five new languages! These can of course can be run in parallel with any other language that we support and really bolster our international offerings. The new languages are: Brazilian Portuguese, Czech (our developer Adam is very chuffed about this), Danish, Norwegian and Polish.
There are some other fixes and updates, including (finally!) contact lookup in landscape mode for apps like Gmail.
