Note:
- Positioning your smartphone correctly in the vehicle is very important to ensure optimal GPS reception and for your own safety! We recommend attaching your telephone to the windscreen with a suitable suction pad holder. Ensure that this is always positioned outside of the range of the airbags!
- MobileNavigator Android is an on+board solution. This means that all map material, voice announcements and system files are saved on the telephone. Therefore no charges or waiting time for data transfer are incurred.
- The Europe version requires approx. 2GB of free memory. Please ensure you have sufficient available mass-storage space (SD card).
- The map material must be downloaded after installing the app via NAVIGON Fresh on a PC or via wireless Internet on the smartphone. Please ensure a reliable and safe connection is available.
- Samsung users: please only download using wireless Internet!

I uninstalled the new market update (3.0.xxx). Now, Navigon Mobile Navigator doesn't need any data connection at startup any more.
Before that, i found out that just running the market before opening Navigon solved the problem. But some times this trick didn't worked.
Can you explain your solution. A have a FC when no Wifi or 3G connexion.

Following solution works for me:
ReplyDeleteIn Navigon I changed the setting "Use internet connnection when available" to OFF, and now Navigon does not crash anymore. Tested with Navigon 3.6.2.

ReplyDeleteI suppose you are aware that there was a market update recently... (This is called 3.0)
I uninstalled this update to revert to a previous version (2.3.6).
This solved the crash at startup problem while any other reported method (settings etc.) did not worked.
Hope this helps, can't be more specific than this :)
